What would happen if, collectively, we chose to slow down? The 1st edition of the international research-creation anti-conference explores acceleration, now emblematic of our time, and its social, technological, ecological and philosophical implications — looking for the conditions of an “art of slowing down”.
Rather than a sequence of papers, the anti-conference makes processes visible: performed lectures, a film debate, low-tech and upcycling workshops and public encounters, in venues across the city (Café Voltaire, Cabanes urbaines, La Coursive, Café de la Paix, Villeneuve-les-Salines library).
With, among others, Syd Reynal, Frédéric Deslias, Nicolas Benvegnu, Malo Lacroix, Laurent Neyssensas, Marc Jahjah, Isabelle Autissier, Stéphane Le Garf, Thomas Meunier and Rocío Berenguer.
