“Digital and interactive navigation structures: developing immersive technologies for archiving and exhibiting documents related to the research of the naturalist Aimé Bonpland.” The research designs ways of navigating a heterogeneous corpus — illustrations, herbarium, scientific and political writings — by creating semantic links between documents through text and image recognition, for virtual, augmented or mixed reality devices, from headsets to interactive museum installations.
